Bellabox delivers a box of make-up and skincare samples to your door every month. Currently priced at $17.95 per month including postage, it is a cheap way to try different brands without having to fork out for full-sized products.
After a few months of subscribing to Bellabox, I found I was overrun with samples and wanted to cancel my subscription. Cancelling your Bellabox is not as easy as signing up. Here is how I suspended my Bellabox membership.
Their mobile site is tricky to use and has limited functionality, so you will need to use a computer if you want to cancel your membership.
Once you are on the desktop version of the Bellabox website and logged into your account, go to the Dashboard page. You can access the Dashboard by clicking on your name in the top right corner of the screen, or by going directly to https://bellabox.com.au/user.
There is a navigation pane on the left of the page. Through this pane, click onto Subscriptions.
The Subscriptions page will list your current and past subscriptions to Bellabox. Find the row corresponding to the subscription you would like to cancel. There is a small, grey settings icon. Click on this and choose the option to cancel.
At this point, your subscription is not cancelled yet. You will be contacted by a staff member from Bellabox to confirm your cancellation. I received a text message to this effect several weeks after I submitted the request. In order for your cancellation to be processed, you need to reply to the message confirming that you would like to cancel (I assume they continue billing you if you do not reply to the message).
You will usually receive one more Bellabox after you request to suspend your membership.
Once your membership is cancelled, you continue to receive their email newsletter which includes beauty tips and their latest offers. To unsubscribe, click on the unsubscription link all the way at the bottom of the email.
