E.l.f Lip Primer and Plumper

The Lip Primer and Plumper from E.l.f. Studio is a useful and effective product to have in your arsenal.





The product is dispensed from two ends; primer on one side, plumper on the other.



The primer goes on opaque- it looks like foundation applied over the lips. Thankfully, it is not meant to be worn alone. The pale base colour causes even mediocre lipsticks to give a vibrant result. It has a dry texture, which helps the lipstick stay on longer, but does not cause dry or cracked lips.



The plumper can be applied on top of lipstick, or worn alone. It tingles a few minutes after you put it on. As with many plumping products, the effect is minimal if applied over lipstick. I have found it to be a nice moisturising gloss to use on otherwise makeup-free days.

The twisting mechanism is not the best quality. The product stick sometimes comes out at an angle, and it can take a few tries to retract. Despite this, it is still an excellent product representing great value.

The Lip Primer and Plumper is a steal at $8 from Kmart. Being from the E.l.f. Studio line, it is a little more expensive than other E.l.f. products.
