The Translucent Smoothing Primer from the Flower Perfection range by Bourjois is a balm-like primer which gives skin a uniform look. It can be used as a base for foundation, or worn alone.
This primer has an amazingly soft texture, leaving your skin feeling supple. Used without foundation, it minimises the appearance of imperfections. Only a tiny amount is required, and it needs to be worked into the skin or it may adopt a flaky texture.
The product comes in a small screw-top pot, with no applicator. It is easily applied with fingers, but this presents hygiene issues if you are sticking your fingers into the balm. Taking out the required amount with a cotton bud and then using fingers to apply works best. With only seven millilitres of product in the pot and a high price tag, the smooth texture of this product does not come cheap.
Bourjois Flower Perfection Primer can be purchased online, with a huge variation of prices. Some websites have it for around $20, while on others you will pay over $60 for the exact same product. I obtained mine on clearance from the Heat Warehouse Sale in Scoresby.
